Imre George Vallyon (born 1940) is a New Zealand writer in the body, mind and spirit field. In 2008 he won the Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust Book Award for his four volume treatise "Heavens and Hells of the Mind", which the judges described as "a remarkable and exhaustive work on human consciousness and the wisdom of the ages." The Charitable Trust Book Award, one of the largest prizes for literature in New Zealand, is offered by the New Zealand Ashton Wylie Charitable Trust in conjunction with the New Zealand Society of Authors and recognises "excellence in the mind, body and spirit genre".〔 Vallyon is the founder of the Foundation for Higher Learning, an international spiritual school formed to help provide people with the opportunity to practise spiritual work within a group environment, and the director of Sounding-Light Publishing, which was founded in 2006 "to produce high-quality books and multimedia for those who feel an affinity for universal wisdom and multi-disciplinary knowledge". Vallyon is a member of the New Zealand Society of Authors. == Biography == Born in 1940 in Budapest, Hungary, Imre emigrated to New Zealand as a refugee at the age of sixteen. Although born of a Roman Catholic background and of a keenly religious nature, he quickly immersed himself in other spiritual disciplines. He joined many Western Magical, Hermetic, Rosicrucian, and Kabbalistic Orders and worked with various Eastern Yogis and Swamis. He investigated Yoga, Zen, Sufism, Eastern and Western Mysticism, Tarot, Astrology, Numerology, Esoteric Psychology and Parapsychology. His teaching integrates many of the forementioned streams into one, teaching Mantra-Yoga, Kabbalah, breathing techniques, silent meditations, the Warrior School of the Foundation for Higher Learning, Tantra techniques, etc. This method stems from the theory that different forms of spirituality East and West ultimately came from one and the same source. His teaching is much in concordance with Theosophy in this stance. Since 1980 he has dedicated his life to teaching the Ageless Wisdom through his extensive writings and workshops and retreats conducted around the world. In 1982 he established the Foundation for Higher Learning, an international Spiritual School designed to provide people with the opportunity to practise spiritual awakening in a group environment, with the ultimate goal of self-realization and planetary transformation.〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Imre Vallyon」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
